Designing the Crossing Crossovers match game was a fun interruption from static feverlines and pie charts. With this new level of interactivity, I had a more complex visual language to develop.
First, I had to think about the different stages of the game and how to distinguish them visually. Second, I had to create an overall aesthetic. In developing these visuals, I focused on the attributes of the cars and pushed our styles to reflect the same sleek, modern feel the cars displayed. I wanted the content, actions and aesthetics to act as a whole and speak the same language.
The match game has become a popular interactive feature, lending itself to other topics such as cellphones and fashion.
