Mei Lan is a designer with professional experience in interaction and visual design. As a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University's School of Design, she developed a passion for design as a problem-solving approach to communication, with a special concern for the people affected by the designed elements.
Bringing together her interests in interaction and information design, Mei Lan currently creates interactive graphics for The Wall Street Journal Online. She looks forward to the constant challenge of visually expressing complex information in new ways, in the digital environment.
In her free time, Mei Lan continues to explore her graphical sense but in a different outlet -- designing and sewing her own clothes and bathing suits.
